Congratulation to all queer couples in Thailand, because same-sex marriage has become effective as actual law from today onwards (23rd January), we are one of trans non-binary & lesbian owned small artist business, we need celebrate for creating our important history with LGBTQIAN+ community in Thailand.
However, same-sex marriage has become effective today, but we are still fighting for getting more law to make queer people in Thailand has better living quality such as: equality marriage for polyam, gender marker changing with self-determination bill for transgender, non-binary, intersex, and gender non-comforting people; anti-hate crime bill (or discrimination elimination bill); letting trans people have welfare to afford their HRT or their surgery easier than now; legalize trans kids able to access their HRT, and many more bills that we have not mentioned.
Finally, we want to say thank you to many gender rights activists to create us to have better future both foreground and background.
ขอแสดงความยินดีกับคู่เควียร์ทั้งหมดในเมืองไทยที่มีโอกาสได้จดทะเบียน #สมรสเท่าเทียม ในวันนี้เป็นวันแรก หลังจากที่ พรบ.สมรสเท่าเทียม ก็มีผลแล้วในวันนี้ เราก็เป็นธุรกิจและศิลปินเควียร์ตัวเล็ก ๆ ก็ขอร่วมเฉลิมฉลองหน้าประวัติศาสตร์วงการเควียร์ด้วยกันนะฮะ
แม้ว่าสมรสเท่าเทียมจะผ่านแล้ว แต่ก็ยังมีก้าวต่อไปที่เรายัังเดินต่อไป ที่เรายังต่อสู้ต่อไป สำหรับกลุ่มรัก Polyam และ กลุ่มรัก T4T เราทราบปัญหาล่วงหน้ามาอย่างดีแล้ว และเราคงยังสู้ต่อไปเพื่อให้มีกฎหมายที่เป็นใจกับเรามากขึ้นในอนาคต ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ร่างกฎหมายเปลี่ยนคำนำหน้าสำหรับคนข้ามเพศ นอนไบนารี, gender non-comforting และ อินเตอร์เซ็กซ์, สมรสเท่าเทียมที่อนาคตอาจรองรับกลุ่มชุมชน Polyam มากขึ้น, ร่างขจัดการเลือกปฏิบัติ, กฎหมายยกเลิกเกณฑ์ทหารเพื่อลดปัญหา gender dysphoria, และสวัสดิการฮอร์โมนเพื่อใช้ในการข้ามเพศ รวมถึงร่างกฎหมายอื่น ๆ ที่เราอาจยังไม่ได้พูดถึงอีกเยอะ
สุดท้ายนี้ เราก็อยากจะขอบคุณนักเคลื่อนไหวประเด็นสิทธิเควียร์ที่ทำให้เรามีสิทธิที่เพิ่มมาในวันนี้ ทั้งเบื้องหน้า และ เบื้องหลัง ด้วยค่ะ
